Adina

Adina Pliskin is a producer and director of television and digital media for more than a decade. She started her career in New York City working on TV specials for National Geographic and PBS including Cesar Milan: The Real Story; Cuba: An Accidental Eden; and the 2-time Emmy nominated feature documentary Defiant Requiem.

She then found her home at Hyperactive Content producing segments for Sesame Street including Word on the Street and Mr. Noodle; developing content for Nickelodeon; and running major ad campaigns for Bank of America and Lahey Health. As Director of Digital Content she produced Recycled Superheroes for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s educational app Curious World, and directed a series of branded shorts for Harper Collins starring Abigail Breslin.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2017 she field produced Hack My Life for TruTV, Fuzzballs for Facebook Watch, and The Funny Dance Show for E!. Adina also directed Introducing, a 4- episode web series for Amazon promoting The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Adina was Senior Producer on the CBS docu-series Mission Unstoppable, executive produced by Geena Davis and hosted by Miranda Cosgrove, profiling female innovators in STEM. Most recently, she produced a proof of concept for the Food Network staring Laura Prepon called Laura’s Kitchen. Adina lives with her husband and dog, Elaine Benes, and loves puppets and horror flicks.

She then found her home at Hyperactive Content producing segments for Sesame Street; developing content for Nickelodeon; and running major ad campaigns for Bank of America.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2017, she has expanded into comedy producing on shows including Hack My Life for TruTV, E!’s the Funny Dance Show, Netflix’s Fresh Fried and Crispy, and the Emmy nominated CBS series Mission Unstoppable, hosted by Miranda Cosgrove and executive produced by Geena Davis.

Currently she is the Showrunner on Booktube Jr., a YouTube Original series where young readers interact with children's book authors including Max Greenfield, Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, and Olympic medalist Ibtihaj Muhammad. Adina lives with her husband and dog, Elaine Benes, and loves puppets and horror flicks.
